Rank Eminem's albums production-wise

Postby shadyblogger » Oct 27th, '14, 05:47

I'm sure this thread has been made before sometime but I haven't seen one during my time here so I thought I'd make one. Pretty self-explanatory but give a ranking of Eminem's albums solely based on production.

My list would probably be something like this:

TES
MMLP
MMLP 2
Relapse
Encore
SSLP
Recovery

I found a few rather hard to place but I think it'd go something along those lines

EDIT: Wasn't quite sure where to place SSLP because it's probably the only Eminem album where the rapping is far superior to the beats.

TES
Relapse/Refill
MMLP
MMLP2
SSLP
Encore
Recovery

I tried to be as objective as I could. If this were completely subjective Id probably put SSLP tied for last if not just last. Dont really enjoy a whole lot of the production on it's own. Eminem definitely elevates those beats for me, none of them standout to me with the exception of Rock Bottom/Still Dont Give A Fuck.

:y:

I still feel Recovery deserves last place though. The production is so sloppy and the mixing is fairly crappy imo.

Yeah I agree, I mean I do enjoy some of the poppier beats on the album even, but theres more than a few that have too much going on. I really fuck with the Spacebound beat.

Haven't listened to Space Bound in a long long time. Will have to give it a listen :b:

Well it's only natural due to the fact that it's one of Eminem's best produced albums (arguably the best)
