Also, his verse in the cypher was pretty meh. In between the childish, immature lyrics and pausing to drink Red Bull, I don't know how anyone could call this the "verse of a lifetime" or "his best verse in 10 years".

This is not surprising but what bugs me is how people continue to label this guy as one of the greats. We all know Hip Hop for unfortunately being one of the most misogynistic and homophobic genres and this dude has been the ambassador for going too far with his lyrics. A lot of the stuff he says always seems to be for shock value and just has become too repetitive and corny. The guy continues to make his motivational stadium anthems and attention seeking rap alongs and people still cosign him while listening from their Beats by Jimmy Iovine headphones. It’s ridiculous. I’d put Danny Brown’s the Hybrid, XXX, and even Old above any Marshall album. Sure Danny says some wild and sometimes disrespectful shit too but at least he also dedicates a good amount of his albums to rapping about the struggles he endured while growing up in Detroit. Danny is a true storyteller that can make entertaining records yet also rap his ass off. Marshall can rhyme but the content is garbage.

Maybe he continues to rap because people want him too but seriously he’s 42 and still raps about the same content as Tyler the Creator pre-Wolf.

This song ain't bad but Eminem fell off, Guts Over Fear sucks, MMLP2 was 5/10.
Lil Wayne fell off in 2012/2013 but he is back now & he been running hip-hop this year.
