Encore 10 years later is still very much an average album (some might say), with tracks like 'Mosh', 'Like Toy Soldiers' & classic bonuses which are on par with TES like 'We As Americans', 'I Love You More'.I personally think this is higher than average, excuse me if you think I'm over exaggerating on this, but listening to the bonuses & aside from those atrocious tracks like 'Big Weenie, 'Ass Like That' 'Just Lose It' to name a few, it's a pretty decent album.
You get some of the seriousness, some of the hilariousness Slim Shady side we all know & love we get a little bit of everything & I think that's whats unique & that I enjoy aside from those other albums, we get a mixture of tracks it's not like Relapse' just a serial killer record with obnoxious accents. (no idea why tyler, the creator enjoys this album) but I think if he would have spend some time with this record we could have gotten a masterpiece. Laugh if you want but if he would have pushed this back & didn't care about the leaks, it definitely would be in a higher ranking than most albums in todays world.
I know it's not really the day Encore was released but I think this album doesn't get praised as much as those others, so as we continue to approach Encore's release, I made this thread so we can share our love & passion we all have for this album. So write down your favorite track, why you like it & I'll do the same.
My favorite track on the album is Mockingbird, it's a dedication to his daughter & niece & I feel like it's the best track on the album, hands down. 10/10.
