As much as I like D12 without Em, if he's not on the song.. there's not really any point to it.

If Em is not on this track then I don't get why they'd put it on here. Seems to me the main reason for putting it on would be because of the hype it brings for them to do a new song together so if he's not on it then it's a pretty big disappointment and in my eyes would have the reverse affect.
