There are enough lyrics here for several solo albums...

Voted MMLP2 because concepts were executed better, but holy shit is Em witty as hell and sharp sounding with these flows on XV. LOVE BOTH, but i think id consider XV part of the MMLP2 era which has been nothing short of fucking epic
I was born to brew up storms, stir up shit, kick up dust, cuss till i slur up spit.
Grew up, to quick, went through to much, knew too much shit. Corrupt
And I'ma pour it on like syrup bitch.

Voted MMLP 2 because I always feel that Em's solo albums are much more complete feeling and the songwriting usually is stronger which I do find to be the case however I will say a couple of things about Shady XV. I agree with OP. Em's flow at certain points on Shady XV was heaven sent. He really had some ill flows on here that blew me away.

The second thing (which kinda goes along with the flow) was the fact that Em's rhythm was unusually strong on this album. I really loved that. There were certain points where he sounded really in sync with the beat and honestly it reminded me of his cadence back in the day. Saying that that was a pleasant surprise is an understatement tbh. His rhythm/cadence as OP said was really tight. Was not expecting that on Shady XV and was shocked. Really loved that.

Voted MMLP2 because it's a solo album with a subject and it has more songs, while Shady XV has only a few Em songs.
Still, Shady XV is dope as fuck, and it exceeded my expectations by faaaar.

Oh definitely.

He's too nasty on Shady XV tbh :coffee:

Yeah the misogyny in Shady XV was unreal tbh. Was not expecting that much nastiness in his lyrics

the thing is you can't compare 9 eminem songs to a 16 track album, you don't know what shit he could've put out on a whole 16 track album again

Still hate the fact that he put Groundhog Day on the Deluxe CD.

We can compare his overall performance despite the amount of songs tbh.

no cuz if you just leave the 9 bolded songs, MMLP2 would shit on shadyXV tbh cuz the skill is there and his flows are more constant:
Bad Guy
Parking Lot (Skit)
Rhyme Or Reason
So Much Better
Survival
Legacy
Asshole Ft. Skylar Grey
Berzerk
Rap God
Brainless
Stronger Than I Was
The Monster Ft. Rihanna
So Far...
Love Game Ft. Kendrick Lamar
Headlights Ft. Nate Ruess
Evil Twin
