Fixed.
Heh, what an irony. The song Jedan is one of the reasons why's my favorite verse from Neko Treci. Jedan is from his underground album De Facto. The album that made him famous. His second album, Puzzle Shock, doesnt contain a bit from underground. An album that tells stories about fictional situations. Of course, and some other types of songs, but NO MORE bullshit about his past, his shitty life. So people started complainin about how they cant find themselves anymore in his new stuff, in his new music. So in Neko Treci he talks to them, sumthin like this:
"In De Facto I talked about how I felt at the time. Wanna hear how I feel now? I got a shrink, I drink sleeping pills, I have stains on my skin caused by fucked up nervs, two packs daily, paranoia, depression, fucked up liver, BUT... a concert every weekend, PLUS a double paycheck, PLUS friends I'd give anything for, PLUS home library, I acchieved it all by myself. Let me see you find yourself in that."
And of course, my favorite quote from this song: "People dont understand that...A man can be honest even when he's not personal; A man can be honest even when he's not like you; So better ask yourself, WHY do you only listen to songs that talk about you?"
And this is why I liked this verse the most. He describes how he managed to dodge the biggest mistake that a rapper can do IMO: act as underground when he becomes mainstream.
