1991-1996 The amount of good albums which came out in this era is incredible. They do not feel so old school but they do not feel modern either. Their styles are incredible, Hip Hop was at it's peak, or so at least to me. The quality of these albums lyrically and production-wise is my favorite if I compare it to other eras. Even though I was born that era, searching through Hip Hop I have realised that most of my favorite albums fit within that time.

Well I was rounding in up to five years. I know it was around mid to late 70's that it came about so just piled that together. Sorry if it offended you.


And KillahBee's comment has probably made me change my vote to 91-96. Too many good albums there too ignore, when I think harder about it.
