It's definitely a move for publicity.

Drake reported a robbery against him. He's no hard-ass dude, and has never claimed to be, so far as I know. It's not like this is a gangster rapper here. This is a regular person, operating within the law. Therefore, it would make sense for said person to act like any other law-abiding citizen would--contact the police when some one commits a crime against you.

Page is upset because Drake didn't make him famous. He got a buzz from the one song they did together, I'm sure, but many people talked as if that song was Drake's. That upset Page, so now he's trying to air some one out, when their dirty laundry has been at the cleaners the whole time: anyone could look into the dryer and see what was up.

He's trying to stir shit, get people speaking his name. I can almost guarantee that nearly no-one here had ever heard of the guy before this shit.
