Are you talking about their popularity or their lyrical abilities...cause Jay never fell off with his Pop. But his lyrics have been lacking since the volumes were complete imo...

Nas' pop. Has fallen off but his lyrics haven't..."N" was another "almost" classic by him but no body buys his albums but hiphop heads now...

So there's two sides to the spectrum and yet another Nas/Jay arguement

Well "fell off" to me means selling out and getting considerably worse in quality.

NO artist period that I can think of, rap or other has done a significant amount of material and just gotten better and better with every single one time after time. Everybody reaches peaks and then sometimes needs to dip in quality to be inspired again. Even if only by themselves or own lacking.

So I don't consider slight dips or missteps by rappers them falling off. If their core artistic beliefs and qualities are in tact but they're just not as powerful or whatever, that's just a dip to me.

So rappers who never fell off...
- Em
- Nas
- Redman
- Xzibit

Some others too. Can't be bothered to think though, recovering from 2 days of drugs. About to go be sick again...
