How many albums do you own?

Just curious as to how many actual hard copies of CD's everyone here has. I just counted all of mine today and was surprised to find I had 204 CD's. I always enjoy collecting and also supporting the artist.

It is only a couple of years ago that I started buying cd's regurlaly, so I only have 90 in my collection. It somehow makes the album sound better when you have the feeling of actually owning the shit, plus it looks great on the shelf

I will stop buying physical albums when a better digital format comes across. All this itunes, youtube, grooveshark crap annoy the fuck out of me, although it is a decent way of discovering new artists.

Real music lovers buy their shit.

Exactly, the music just overall feels much better and I love to just look at my albums there stacked up.

I properly got into buying albums about a year ago and have about 68.

I love having the CD. Love it.

I remember buying 36 Chambers and The Chronic as my first two CDs when I was younger after reading they were "the best rap albums ever". I wasnt into proper hip hop then and I hated them. Young and naive, I was.
