Yeah, as a rapper he may not be that good, but as a person, he is hilarious.

That's the key to Eminem's success and appeal. The fact you're getting a real human being on the microphone; full range of anger, emotion, humour etc.

Where as with 50, he's stuck in this stale bravado image of his past. When that's just a cliche' shell, it's also obviously - Laziness. He's not a retard in real life though, just in his music. Need to learn how put himself into and not this fantasy character mesh of Terminator and LL Cool J.
