Has anybody heard of Madtone?

A guy i work with, who has had expericance in the music industry (has been in a few bands, even got on a label at one point.

he was tellin me, that if i was serious about wanting to get signed to a label, not to many label's are going to look at a rapper going by his real name, and he was tellin me i should use a stage name, i started thinkin, Madtone, it would be a sick name, it has alot of meaning to who i am, but i looked it up on google and seen that there is an artist called madtone, but is he official, cuz i plan on joining ASCAP next week, which means i will be trademarking my stage name, now, if Madtone is already trademarked, i do have another name i plan to use, but madtone is a name i definitly want to use.
