Another FL Question (looping)

Postby Wreck » Feb 20th, '11, 23:05

ok when i'm on slicex and i drag the beat on it, i'm trying to loop a part of a beat so that i extend it. i have the part highlighted that i want to loop and i played it back on the loop playback button above it, but i don't know what to do next as far as extending the loop, not just playing it, and what do you do after that?

Thanks for any help, much appreciated.

I'm not sure if this is what you need but when I want to loop a peace of a beat/song, I just slice the wanted loop and remove the unwanted parts. Then I press shift, click on the loop (still holding shift) and drag it to the right - that automatically creates a clone of the loop you sliced.

^Thanks Maybe.

No I'm trying to just loop the loop of the beat and extend the beat but leave the beginning and end as be.

Well that's how you do it, except you don't remove the beginning and the ending as I said, you just put your cloned loop in-between.

I dunno how to slice it. All I did was highlight the part of the beat I wanted to loop to extend it. Sorry about being so specific but I'm still learning the specifics of the program.
