I really dislike DJ Polo's production so I'm kind of biased.
His most notable is Road To Riches but it's a little too old school for me to be honest.

I'd try
Roots Of Evil (Cannon Fire, Let The Games Begin, Home Sweet Funeral Home)
or
4, 5, 6 (Fast Life Feat. Nas, Executioner Style, Take 'Em To War)

Random Good Song - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zQBcRtvo8o
(Off The Giancana Story Feat. CNN)

DJ Polo barely produced anything, he's a DJ, not producer. Road to the Riches was entirely produced by Marley Marl for example.

I only have Road to the Riches and find it very dope. has some really tight lyrics on it. You should check it out but yeah, it's old :)

Well that's a big :facepalm for me but as I said, I didn't really check it out too much.
Plenty of DJ's produce btw *Cough* DJ Premier *Cough*
I feel the same way about Rakim with Eric B. Completely ruined his early work.

G Rap is a legend and an icon. Without him there would be no Nas, Jay or Biggie. Yeah you heard me right Brooklyn, it took a Queens cat to inspire you guys.

And yeah he was at the heart of the compound rhyme scheme, before it suddenly became something to obsess over by hip hop fans.

His first two albums with Polo are classics. If you're looking for solo material, then 4,5,6 is the way to start.
The New York Times - "Lloyd Banks may have stealthily become the most important rapper in New York".
