Anyone else love Rich Boy?

Postby FreeSpeech » Mar 17th, '11, 05:41

I generally am not a fan of Southern rappers, other than Bun B, Wayne, Outkast, etc. However, Rich Boy is dope. He's got a huge Southern drawl so I think a lot of people write him off as dumb or wack, but check out these songs. Every one is sick. I'm looking forward to his album this year (it's got production by Dr. Dre), it's been 4 years since his debut. I wish he hadn't fallen off and had kept pumpin out music like Waka or Gucci, he's better IMO.

Such a real, emotional song. I love it. Beat is great. Damn good vid too.

If this doesn't get you pumped, what will? BOY LOOKA HERE.

Sexy beat.

Real right here...

Bangin' song

You forgot Goodie Mob, Krit, Cunninlynguists etc.

As far as Rich Boy is concerned, I think he blows. Only song I like from him is Throw some D's the remix.

That's why I put an "etc." there's tons of good Southern rappers, I just didn't list em all. Luda, Scarface, Chamillionaire...
It's just not my preferred style.

And I can see why people wouldn't like him, but at least listen to Get This Paper, the title is very misleading. It's raw emotion, straight from the heart.
