Technically I first listened to Eminem at around nine, but was ignorant towards anything not coming out off MTV.

13-15 was when I would listen religiously to Lil Wayne and followed all his mixtapes and other contempararies he may have had at the time (Jeezy, TI, etc.)

16 was when I was introduced to guys like Canibus, Immortal Technique, JMT.

17 was when was when I really tried delving into the genre and listen to just about anything I see posted by people on other forums, and when I would search for other artists on RYM.

15 is when I really got into it. I'd always liked it, but I really started to learn more about it and become a real fan of hip hop.

6-12 i would listen to anything that was on the radio so those raps u here on KTU was the rap i got
then 12-13 i would listen to an artists singles only
and 14-Now i listen to full rap albums

One of the first Hip-Hop songs i remember would be Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio. That song flooded the Radio in 1995/96. I didn't really get into Hip-Hop until around 1999 with the SSLP so Eminem pretty much got me into hip-hop at 9/10 years old.
