Cardiak - the next big Hip Hop producer

Postby stillmatic » Jan 27th, '11, 00:22

Forget your Alex Da Kids and Boi1da's, this kid is the future. This is raw hip hop, the NY shit that make people wanna go out and commit felonies. I'm calling it early, and saying he's the new Just Blaze.

He rolls with the Unit and gained some big exposure because of his beats on Lloyd Banks HFM2. 50 shouted him on his last interview on MTV, so he's gonna play a big part in a lot of their projects, including Prodigy when he's out.

Some of his beats. I tried to find only instrumentals, so it's easier to see the talent. You can see his trademark deep piano notes.

He sounds pretty good :y:

Reminds me of AraabMuzik, but I prefer Araab

To me, the next big thing is Apollo Brown, his production on The Left - Gas Mask is of the chain

Edit, listening to these vids again, yeah, this guy is really fuckin' good :y:

I'm a huge fucking fan. HUGE.

The Reset is my shit.

Why I like Cardiak a bit more though is because I think his beats like Just Blaze can also impact the charts.

But I would admit Apollo Brown is more talented. Reminds me of Havoc...you get that feeling too?

Actually, there's even a song from The Reset where they are paying tribute to Detroit Hip Hop, and they mention everyone from Dilla, to Royce to Proof. I don't know why they didn't mention Eminem. That's a great fucking song too.

Can't remember what it was because it's not popular enough to search for the lyrics on google (stupid!).

Most definitely man, by the sounds of things this Cardiak dude is gonna make some huge hits, whereas I think Apollo Brown will be making more "sleeper" style tracks

And yeah, Apollo Brown does actually remind me of Havoc, dusty samples, knocking drums, he's really taking it back
