Bumping since I just listened to this album. Those tentacles are still suggestive as fuck.

Honestly, I felt like I was too busy listening to the beats to pay attention to the ack scented rappers. Amazing production. Some of the samples were just insane.

I'm still trying to figure out this album, I know its about dreams, and I read a post by Kno on the q5 forum saying the beat switch on "Stars Shine Brightest" turns the album froming being about dreams into to waking up, but a lot of this is going over my head, I know on Hard as They Come Natti is alcholhol, Freddie Gibbs is cocaine and Kno is AIDS, but the meanings behind most of the other tracks is beyond me at the moment

First 3 songs = Falling asleep, Hard As They Come - Stars Shine Brighest = Dreaming, As Though As Not To Wake You - Dreams = Waking Up, and Embers is fulling regaining consciousness, I think I've got this now

Anyway, amazing production, great lyrics, perfect guests, fantastic concept - this album is going to be hard to top this year

This album is freakin amazing. I was bumping it while taking a bus home in the evening, it felt like trippin (I suppose it feels a lot like that, I've never done that rofl). Beats are amazing, I wasn't paying much attention to the lyrics really, I just listened to the beats - they could make a fantastic instrumental album. Anyways, from what I've heard, lyrics are sick too.. Whoa, probably the best album I've heard in a long time..

At the end of Phantasmata the Narrator basically says immoral thoughts are not allowed to appear directly in our dreams, so they are modified by regrouping, substitution and displacement

So instead of committing violence (in their dreams) as a person, they are modified to be other things (alcohol, crack, AIDS). Same with Murder, Big KRIT is getting away with murder by being president and sending soldiers to kill for him, while Natti is religion and makes his followers commit murder by promising them heaven
