Announced earlier at the launch party at the House of Blues in LA, were this year’s lineup for the Rock The Bells. The festival begins at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, CA on August 18 & 19, Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA August 25 & 26 before ending at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ on September 1 & 2. Yup, same days as HOV's Made In America festival in Philly.

Nas and Lupe, huh? Damn... If I see those two in the same night , I'll probably turn into the Hulk or something.

This is the best hip-hop line-up ever, I would kill to go to this festival. It's almost as good as the line-up at Woodstock 69'.

LOL, are you people fucking serious calling this the best line-up ever? On it's own this is a decent line up with some great acts (Nas, Atmosphere, Red & Meth, Deltron 3030, Lupe, Ice Cube, Big Daddy Kane) to balance out the horrible (Mac Miller, 2Chainz, Salt N Pepa, Yellerwoof, Wiz Khalifa, Timbaland, E-40, Gay Cole) and an overflow of terribly average in between. But this is easily Rock The Bells worst lineup yet, they've had 4 horrible artists amongst a ton of great/above average ones in the last 2 years combined (Big Sean, Yellerwoof, Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller), this year they overload it with shit & mediocrity, keeping just a few great acts as saving graces.

It has better highlights (even though last year had MF DOOM), but last year had mostly above average acts, the only horrible artist there was Mac Miller. This year is packed to the brim with mediocrity & coated with shit to top it off.

Nas, Lupe, Ice Cube, Cudi and Kendrick? Great, Yelawolf is there too? Damn! Hopes that gets him more exposure. :y:

I should really start to listen to Atmosphere.

Sees yelawolf on your "horrible" list, laughs because I realize you suck the dick of everyone at SL, and then disregards every word from you there after. Now I'm waiting for your post filled with insults so I can laugh again.

Rev has probably heard two or three 2 Chainz verses tbh.

But you know how his taste is.

Honestly man, 2 Chainz is wack. Just because he's GOOD doesn't mean he is actually a good rapper, c'mon stop stanning and dickriding the label so much.

2Chainz is a bad rapper.

I'm not saying hes good. I'm not a fan. Don't put words in my mouth please.

But saying he's worst rapper next to Soulja is a bit ignorant to be honest.

ps. He's not signed to GOOD Music, at least not yet.

^ Then why are you defending him, he's wack as fuck and not far from being a Soulja Boy. Even though you can't be worse than him, he's still wack.
If he's signed to GOOD music, then he's officially the wackest rapper in the group and Kanye must've been on something.

Image

I thought this was the proof he signed to good music.

^ Maybe like a publishing deal, like Shady and B.o.B.

That Beez in a Trap verse made me not want to check his other shit, and his Wild Boy verse on that MGK song convinced me not to do it.. I think there are a lot of better rappers who have the same style as him.

Like, he sounds retarded to me. I can't enjoy his music, and you know I don't care if it's mainstream or not. Wiz has some catchy and enjoyables songs, 2Chainz.. is just annoying to me.
