Who is the best artist that is both a rapper as well as a producer? based on the quality of their lyrics/song writting as well as quality of the beats they have made. And the quality of their albums.

Eminem obviously. But I would say Tyler is second for me. Then Kanye.

As far as catalouge and quality of both writting lyrics and production hands down Eminem to put it in simple terms. Em wrote the lyrics on Lose Yourself, great verses, great chorus and also produced the beat. As far as albums he wrote the lyrics both verses and hooks on the Eminem Show as well as produced the entire album. He produced albums like Devil's Night For D12, Cheers for Obie Trice. Just a better Artist than say DJ Quik or Kanye. They are good producers but Em is not only dope at making beats, he dope at writting lyrics, writting hooks, harmonizing.
