The Game was thiiiiiiiis close to jumping into a huge fight in Hollywood this weekend -- even taking off his shirt in preparation for battle -- but something crazy happened ... his entourage held him back!

Game had been partying at Lure Nightclub on Saturday night with some of his friends -- but moments after he talked to TMZ about the Eazy-E hologram, a fight broke out across the street ... and suddenly, it was mayhem in the streets.

It's unclear why or how Game was involved -- but he was definitely PISSED ... and clearly wanted to go beat someone's ass.

That's when his entourage stepped in -- one guy grabbed Game and physically restrained him ... while some other guys readied the rapper's car so they could get out of the situation before something bad happened.

Game eventually left the scene ... right as cops began to arrive.

Props to the entourage -- you guys are earning those Rolexes.

Well that's way more serious... there is no comparison actually.
Game loses on daily basis & he never handles him the right way... he's provoked pretty often even from fans who use to worship him so we're gonna keep seeing that kinda stuff pretty often.
He lost long time ago but Kendrick is kinda pushing him off the map so things going from bad to worse for game.
Like I previously said he's eventually lose big time even though at least for now he maintains his image as a badass.

I hate them with passion... they'd do anything to anybody to just get their thing going. Some of the speculation ish they've done over the years have been disgusting.

Game is like those guys who only act tough and shit when people are around.

He's tough... I give him that but he's been losing on all fronts for years so toughness is gonna backfire on him. He's still relevant & rich enough to avoid major problems having big entourage with him 24/7 but he's getting to a point when he's gonna be totally pushed away.
