He's one of the fast spitting rappers that just doesn't sound good doing anything else...

It's like, I've heard Joel Ortiz spit normally and he sounds boring and corny. They don't craft rap well it seems unless they're spitting complex rhymes for the sake of spitting.

He's an artist in every sense of the word.. he has complete control of his music and puts out music he believes in. It's okay to not like a song but to say he can't craft rap well is ludicrous.

He can sing really well. And if you listen to the lyrics, it's very well written.



Also, this is a good funny track.



I like him a lot. He's versatile. You never know what he'll sound like. And he produces all the beats, and can at the very least (to my knowledge) play the drums. He's talented.

Yeah but it sounds corny.

His fast shit sounds amazing but this track just sounds like... Nickleback meets ICP meets Hopsin; it just sounds corny and bad, and broad lmao; like really fake attempt at emotion with a corny gruff voice etc. which isn't natural or authentic, and weak lyrics...

Also... that "Slap Happy" song... I think it's really badly written... lazy rhymes and ideas.

Like I said, some only sound good with their specific style. He reminds me of Joel in that respect.

You can't listen to those songs and say that he can't 'craft rap'. You may not like him because he defies your preconceived notions of what rap is supposed to be, or because you think he's gimmicky, but the fact of the matter is he can rap his ass off.

I go out of my way to mention multiple times in general his rap is amazing, and nope I have no pre-conceived notions of what rap should be and welcome change and left-field shit.

'regular rap' or notions of 'what rap should be' bores me, that leads to stagnation.

I said the songs posted are corny and bad, not that he's not capable of good music or that he's a bad rapper; I've gone out of my way to praise him in the past - doesn't mean every single song he makes is good though, and the ones posted here, are bad in my books. But I think he's a good rapper and musician.
