Yesterday on New York Radio Station Power 105.1, Jay-Z vowed to "smash" hating rappers live on-stage at the radio station's upcoming Power House concert.
"I got a lot of records," Jay told host Ed Lover. "I'm getting the itch. I need to see the people. It's time for a good show in New York City."
Jay-Z will headline Power 105.1's Power House concert on October 27th at the Continential Airlines Arena in New Jersey. The rap mogul, who is expected to bring along his Def Jam roster including Kanye West, Tierra Mari and Young Jeezy, will also hit up Philadelphia the next day for another Power House show.
Jay-Z declared war on rappers who've been taking subliminal shots at him on record. Suspected targets of Jay-Z's wrath may include Fat Joe who's been accused of biting Jay-Z's flow and has made repeated references on record to a Rocafella Vs. Terror Squad charity basketball game in which Rocafella's team lost by default. Other targets could be 50 Cent, who made slights against Jay during their 2003 Roc The Mic Tour and The Game, who has taken shots at Jay-Z's right-hand man, Memphis Bleek.
"I gotta put 'em in the choke hold," said Hova. "I gotta smash a couple of people. Everybody better make up and be my friend."
