Anyway I really got into him just before the heist came out and was surprised to see how crazy he blew up though I think he deserved it. Language of my World is awesome too, White Privilege is a great song.

Okay now that might be a little bit of an overreaction but yeah. If you really like Macklemore's style then you should delve into some more indie rap if you haven't already. Atmosphere is a good starting point.

Its all hip hop/rap guys if we were still in the 90s and we played something from 2013 it'll sound awkward to that era but we are in 2013 and we have such a wide variety of rap music now which is a good thing not bad, just because i don't like a certain sound of an artist, ill say its wack but i wont say its not rap because it is.

Rap isn't the same as it was in the 90s i mean in the 90s rap was directed to certain people but not intentionally like it wasn't as mainstream as it is now (i don't mean mainstream as in radio rap) i mean mainstream as in almost everyone i run into is a fan of the genre unlike the 90s it wasn't as mainstream.

Here's an example of what i mean by "mainstream" 10 years ago or more tattoos were mostly for people like punk rockers etc and now a days every fuckin person has a tattoo if not one tat like 5 or more, why because tattoos are so mainstream now.

Anyway my point is that its totally a great thing that hip hop has evolved and its only good for the genre...im talking too much now but whatever.
