That's what I've been saying! There is so much hate surrounding Macklemore by people that haven't even given him a listen. He is real as fuck and has a poetic way with words I haven't seen since oldschool KRS-ONE (his biggest influence by the way)

Rap isn't the same as it was in the 90s i mean in the 90s rap was directed to certain people but not intentionally like it wasn't as mainstream as it is now (i don't mean mainstream as in radio rap) i mean mainstream as in almost everyone i run into is a fan of the genre unlike the 90s it wasn't as mainstream.
Here's an example of what i mean by "mainstream" 10 years ago or more tattoos were mostly for people like punk rockers etc and now a days every fuckin person has a tattoo if not one tat like 5 or more, why because tattoos are so mainstream now.
Anyway my point is that its totally a great thing that hip hop has evolved and its only good for the genre...im talking too much now but whatever.
