Blu & Exile - Below The Heavens

Postby Slim Fiasco » Nov 22nd, '13, 21:31

Damn is this album awesome, hadn't heard in a while and now I kinda like it more than ever. There's a certain youthful spirit so to say that's captured in the sound and while Blu is rather mature his style still has backpack elements to it. It's a very well rounded album, you have the right amount of skill - flow/rhyming/content/emotions and it's dope like in a rappity rap way but also appealing to the average consumer. The instrumentals are excellent in their own right, this is definitely a project when everything has fallen into place.

So yeah, if you haven't heard it (in a while) go ahead and do it, and also give a brief review of yours. :b:

Word, I listen to very often. Blu & Exile are a great tandem. Exile's production is smooth, love this whole vibe of the record. I listen to the whole thing on trips and on my way to class.

Good looking out bro, I wasn't aware of either of those. I'm glad you think so highly of the album though I guess that's not so hard to assume :D
