EDIT: I was three minutes in, and he said it like as soon as I typed that. All in all, I guess I can see where he comes from on some of it, but it seems like he missed the purpose of a few songs here.

7 minutes of pure bullshit. The "points" he made:

• The hooks are bad because the hooks are bad.
• The music is bad because Hopsin is insecure and doesn't get laid much.
• The production is weak (no reason given).

I havaen't even listened to the album fully, but he he hit the nail on the head when he said that Hopsin preaches a bit much and takes himself too seriously for someone you wouldn't wanna be taking life lessons from.

I think the Fantano review was spot on for the most part.

The main issue with Knock Madness for me was Hop's lack of growth as an artist. If this had came out a year after Raw, I don't think anyone would feel like it was as weak as they do now. Raw was an album that should have been a mark of his potential, not some standard that he could only hope to meet (at best) with his next release. Knock Madness is good for what it is, I'm just afraid that it only reinforces the idea that people have of Hopsin being a limited artist.

Perhaps inflated expectations come into play here. Then again, maybe the reason Hopsin continuously put off releasing this album was due to the fact that the points brought up about this album are valid, and he himself perceived this prior to putting it out.

Haven't really followee what he is doing simce that shitty don't ride my dick track. Pretty dissapointed, feel like he was out of ideas. Little imagery, story telling was weak/almost non existent. Ideas were limited. The album is not shit it is just ok. Nothing more nothing less. I may even prefer Gazing at the Moonlight for the story telling and imagery although it was very rough. His Funk Volume mixtape and Raw although being somewhat corny were enjoyable, you could see if he worked at it he would make a good album.

Still believe he has potential but lacks guidance.

Four listens later, still don't like it Just an ok album. Album is like a 5-5.5/10 for me. I did love like four tracks though. The album starts off good with the first few tracks and then down hill
