Kanye West thinks that 50 Cent is not getting the acknowledgement he deserves at awards ceremonies.

One of Fiddy's most notable losses was at the 2004 Grammys, where Evanescence scooped the gong for best new artist.

"I remember being there and Evanescence won... and it's like 'who?'" Kanye told MTV's TRL Monday. "But they say that the best new artist award at the Grammys is the kiss of death."

He added: "These award shows... I don't want to say that they're fixed... it's just hard when you impact the world the way that he did and then they want to turn around and not give you your proper credit. When that first album came out, it was 50 Cent by a mile. How could you have the audacity to let anyone [else] win? He was a sure win for any competition he was in so anything he didn't win that year, he was robbed."
