sad news, rest in peace.
As Cee Lo said, I just hope it'll spark Andre's creativity again.

It's not selfish, it depends on how you see it.
This is a tragedy for Andre, of course. Nobody want to lose their father. But we must search for something good in the worst things that happen to us, and the good thing in here might be Andre re discovering his creativity again :)

What? that doesn't change the fact that saying that is ill-advised. Last thing I want to hear is someone talking about my music. You think I give a shit, I just lost my dad and your thinking about my music.

I don't know about Cee Lo, but I wasn't talking about music. I was just talking about creativity. I'm not saying like "Oh his father died, rip, now we'll get a new Andre album, whoo". I'm saying that I hope that this tragic episode can restore his creativity, then I don't care if he puts out an album or not, I just hope he can get some benefits from a tragic event like this. Something is better than nothing.
I don't know if you get my point, english is not my first language so I can't really explain how I'd want to.
I never meant to disrespect Andre, though, that's for sure.

No, I know you don't mean any harm. I understand what you're saying. I'm talking about what Cee-Lo said and I'm taking his words into context. Like he sure sounds to me he's taking about Andre's music, because as a person Andre seems fine and well.

My point is Cee-Lo shouldn't have said that at all. He should have let some time pass before he said anything like that. Then when he does he should word it differently. Show some more compassion.

Cee Lo's comment was in poor taste. Of course we all want to see Andre create some new music but have some tact for when to say it. RIP
