No, I don't think Hip Hop is shit now a days. It used to be about being a thug, now it's about being rich. How is one better than another? The world is full of trends, hip hop is no exception. The Bling phase will pass and a new trend will come along. Plus, everything on the radio has always been mainstream stuff, don't judge hip hop by that. All the "same" beats are being made because that's what people are buying into right now.

well of course not all hip hop of today sucks but about 90% does
nobody has an original beat anymore
i mean of course back in the day samples where used especially from soul records like james brown and stuff
but nowadayz its all about putting a beat to a record that already exists
or making up the dumbest melodies with a fingersnap and everybody goes "WOW" thats a good record :confusion:

and don't even get me started on the lyrics MY GOD :angry:

hip hop used to be especially about lyrics you would put on an album and listen to it
and be like wow i can't believe he said that , the words that where used to describe how they felt or
you were impressed on how someones flow was
now its all about :
"yeah i have bling cause thats my thing
i fuck a bitch with a huge butt and flash my ring cause it cost allot "
( i just made that up in like 2 seconds so it just shows how untalented most rappers are :happy:

it seems like nowadays people listen to a record
and they just skip till they hear a good beat or sumthin
i think hip-hop is totally different then what hip hop was ... well lets say 20 years ago
its not even the same genre in music no more
and you have 3 six maffia winning oscars :confusion:

i think hip hop is just popular music nowadays and it will fade away slowly like the whole rock- period was in the 80 ( metallica aerosmith guns and roses and bands like that) well those band are still big but not popular right now know what i mean :happy:

i mean in the 90's you had allot of pop like `nsync that faded 2
so maybe in a couple of years hip hop will die down a lil bit so it can start over fresh :unsure:

or at least i hope so :happy:

hip hop is shit, it's really shit todays, Even em is getting worser than worse, i like his old ones like the longest yard, straight from the lab, mmlp em show, sslp and ep encore is funny, but you can't call it straight rap you know

and 50 cent and the game just suck
let's make it back again

rappaz now-a-days have lost the art of rap or neva found it at all. now as long as its got a decent beat and girls can shake thea asses it'll sell. i dunno why. its garbage. 05 and 06 in my opinion are bad years for rap.
