About Mastermynd
Mastermynd is a Brooklyn emcee hailing from Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. He's dubbed as Rap's Savior by some of his fans. Born Darius Williams on Saturday February 18, 1984. Since Mastermynd began writing lyrics he has become a successful battle rapper having won all five battle competitions he participated in. In April Mastermynd worked up enough money to pay for studio time. He used the studio time to write and record "Three the Hard Way", the song that would land him a deal. Mastermynd then met Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, who hired him as a hype man for a promotional tour for MC Hot Rod, until a deal was written up to make Mastermynd an official member of G-Unit. In late September that deal was put on the table, Mastermynd had no other choice but to sign it. Shortly after Mastermynd signed the deal that made him a G-Unit Soldier he began to realize he was being ripped off. Mastermynd then confronted 50 Cent about the situation and a fight broke out. With the same hand Mastermynd used to hold a mic his whole life, he used to throw a single punch at 50 Cent. As soon as 50 Cent hit the ground a group of bodyguards swarmed Mastermynd. Although Mastermynd was only on G-Unit for a few weeks he had recorded 12 songs with the little studio time he was given. Each of the 12 masters were destroyed by 50 Cent. Within day's of leaving G-Unit Mastermynd was set-up and shot 7 times. He arrived in the hospital on Sunday October 8th with 7 bullets in his body and a minor concussion. After being in a coma Mastermynd defied all odds by waking up on Friday the 13th of October. A few day's after leaving the hospital Mastermynd's best friend was shot in a drive-by shooting while driving MasterMynd's car. Mastermynd's debut album will be Oraculum, which is currently in the works. The album will feature "Guerrilla Warfare", a G-Unit diss track that he promises will be the best and realest diss track in recent years. He vowes to expose and destroy the careers of every member of G-Unit. Mastermynd has a supportive following around Brooklyn and promises to bring rap back to where it should be. In late October of 2006 acclaimed rapper, The Game heard about Mastermynd. The Game had Mastermynd flown out to California. After Mastermynd was around Game for a few days The Game offered him a deal with Black Wall Street, The Game's label, Mastermynd gladly accepted the deal. Mastermynd now resides in Los Angeles, CA only a few miles away from Game's Glendale, CA home. "It's not about East, West, North, or South. It's about Hip-Hop."

Album Update

This is the second of the updates on my album. You guys are getting a lot of the info a month before its announced

Ok we are currently looking at May 15 or 22nd as possible release dates. I got until February 27th to make any last changes to the album, that's when manufacturing begins. The first single will drop in early March. It is just a radio single, it's not too commercial but its radio friendly, it's a song about my life and how I got to where I am. It's produced by Hi-Tek and the name of the track is "Diamond in the Rough". Its just a single made to introduce me to the rap game. Then on March 6h "Guerilla Warfare" will drop with a video, the video will be amazing I promise you that. Then after that a single will come out in early April, it's gonna have a video as well. It's the most commercial song on the album and it's definitely gonna get a lot of airtime. Your going to like it when it drops but your going to get sick of it because of all the play its gonna get, but in a few years you will look back on it as a classic hip-hop hit. The track is "Somebody's Watching Me" and it samples Rockwells chorus from his 1983 hit "Somebody's Watching Me" (Michael Jackson was on the chorus) sample and I Rockwell was in the studio with me. Game got in contact with Michael Jackson and he made it happen for me, apparently Michael Jackson contacted Game about him and Game working together in the future. My delivery on that tracks kind of fast but the lyrics are great. That will be a very big hit, it will probably be on the top of the charts for a few weeks. The fouth single is "Dreamer", it's a slow emotional single with a video. I'll give you guys more info on it later. I love the track. That single will drop in May. The video for "Somebody's Watching Me" will be filmed February 2nd and "Guerilla Warfare" will be filmed the following week, it features clips from a Universal Pictures movie

If you didn't see my last bulletin, i have drawn up plans for a charity foundation called Community Revolution in Progress, basically its a charity set up with the intent to rid the America of its ghettos. it starts up with the release of my album. every person that opens my album will find a donation card with the address to send the money.

Also if I do serve time on that assault charge then Kosmic Ice will run my Myspace.
