do u think Biggie is over hyped? i kinda do. i think Nas is just as lyrical as him if not more lyrical but i don't see him getting nearly as much props. i think becuz Biggie's dead is the main reason people love him. and i'm not a Biggie hater. i think Life After Death is one of the best CDs ever but i don't think Biggie deserves as much propz as he gets. let me know what you think.

i ain't sayin' Biggie is terrible. i like how they don't release a new CD of him every year but his lyrics aren't the greatest you'll find.

THe fuck.
Ive never once heard Biggie being called "the best... or etc"

I been listning to hip hop all my life, Biggie still is one of my favourite rappers. He's a great rapper, he made one of the best albums of all times- "ready to die", created a second wave to hardcore gangster rap.
Motherfuckers gotta understand. Hip hop is not about "props" or charts or who is the best. Its about music.
No one, i repeat ...no one can classify rappers into a Top Ten, its impossible, we all have different tastes, different tastes that creat this variety of music.

edit: btw biggies lyrics were awesome. Content might have not been about the same tupac was rapping about, but as i said, thats the whole point, one rapper makes party music, the other makes other kinds of music....

agree with u there 100%...
also, if u wanna compare Biggie to Pac, Biggie has a better flow n pronounciation of things... his rhymes are tight and his style is very unique
