Battle Rappers dont get signed ?

ok let me explain

i been listening to jin (ALOT) lately, and he says in alot of rap battles and in tracks that battle rappers arent supposed to get signed, n like hes the best battle rapper to make it, and lots of things like that about how labels dont sign battle rappers


so i was thinking there has got to be somehting behind these like in the history of hip hop, so can anyone explain to me why labels dont sign battle rappers....supposedly

yeah i fink its kind of unfair that battle rappers rarely get signed. i fink some of tha best knowadays (e.g. The Saurus, Illmaculate etc) shuld get signed in a second but they never do. Or if they do they flop hard. I guess its weird that they often get loadz of fans but limited interest from record companies. Or maybe like DOPE said battle rap dont sell, even tho i love it

Becuase if battle rappers got signed and they still regularly battled that would stop people from buying shitty beef mixtapes and respect rappers like game, 50 cent, camron, and all the other fags that eat of the nonsense they produce.

cuz theres a difference between battle rapping and writing songs. some ppl are better at one than the other. either way, they both get and deserve respect, its just that ppl signed to labels usually get more respect cuz all the white ppl buy their albums and don't know shit about the difference between battle rapping and rapping. i think 8 mile confused all the little white kids

fact is, most battle rappers can only write a battle rap. writing a radio quality song and a hot diss are worlds apart from one another.

Labels Dont Sign Battle Rappers Because Battling Doesnt Prove You Can Make Hot Songs Singles Albums Or Even Hit The Charts. But The Way Battle Rappers With More Talents Than Just Battling Do It Is Go To Battles With Demo's, Or Get Signed Than Battle But Some Battle Rappers Get Signed

1. Proof - Shady Records (even though it was because he was eminems best friend)
2. Sirius Jones - DTP (this jus recently happened a few months ago)
3. Young Miles - Red Head Records
4. Jin - Ruff Ryders (But Not Anymore)
5. Cassidy - Full Surface
6. Eminem - Aftermath (but dre also heard his demo)

I Could Prolly Go On For Days But You Get The Point, It Nots Like They Say "He's A Battle Rapper, We Cant Sign Him" But Its About Proving Yourself And A Battle Isnt Proof That Your a Hot Artist.
