Listened to it last night, thought it was okay, nothing special, production by Marley Marl was great, but wasn't that impressed by KRS on it. Few good tracks, nothing more in my eyes.

In my opinion, overrated, i read on another board how people were saying its all that and stuff. So i downloaded it.

1) Yes, Krs, we get it, you're oldschool.
2) FLOW.. please.. its not the 80's no mo' .... yo'.
3) making Positive realistic songs = cool .. making songs about how everybody should make positive songs (more than once) = not cool.

other than that i somewhat like it, and out of respect for KRS i wont hate it, but i cant say ill be playing it again.

Edit: Marley Marl is a genius, i thank him from the bottom of my heart for blessing my ears. So my comments are only related to lyrics from KRS mostly.

Edit2: Btw, Krs has a huge ass beak... khaaa kaaaaaahhh.. tweet tweet

^ lmao @ edit2

well i listened to it right through like twice now i just click on 4-6 tracks, i like the one with DJ premier alot :sweating:

but the beats make the album, and if you listen to "rising to the top" the beat has a strange Mart85 feel to it...well obviously it would be the other way around (mart sounding like marley) lol was thomas who pointed it out the strings sound like something mart would make :sweating:

overall i like the message of the album, but it feels rushed and repeated himself alot, but the i dont think i dislike any beat on it at all
