i think mike's music style is different from hip-hop life .. mike is some kind of clean rapper .. possibly the best clean rapper ever heard of .

i doubt that Mike will be putting out disses or battle records anytime soon..he's more of the abstract hip-hop that stays away from the whole "pimping yourself to sell records" syndrome..he gets respect from the underground hip hop heads and to me the best kind of respect you can get from the hip hop community.

This is truth, Mike Shinoda brought us a twist of a mainstream underground album with The Rising Tied he brought on Styles of Beyond a ug group i listened to well before Fort Minor which was dope i thought. I especially love the album content and production while Mike didn't have to go all Immortal Tech on us with complicated rhymes he kept it simple for a wide range of listeners to under stand the message in his music, the production is nutty he has the ability to go far in Hip Hop if he keeps at it.

So that said Big ups to Mike for dropping a dope album, im a little hesitant on the single choices though, while Where'd You Go is a radio friendly track its one of those that just got over played and it's also one of those tracks that just because of the Emotional effect it had it brought in a very young crowd not that it's a bad thing but i think this album should be more for a mature audience but hey his album has been selling so he's getting his moneys worth now.

He's cool, I like that dude. And he doens't seem like someone who would get into beef with anyone, I dunnu know, thats just me. Though I could picture some rap artist mabye attacking him (verbally) for that song Cigarete while he's in Fort Minor, since it basicly disses rap in general. I don't think he'd stoop to giving a fuck though

he kinda disses ppl on the song Get me Gone

Well first he diss the ppl who asked him to quit rapping and play keyboard for Linkin park and then diss the media ppl who published that Linkin Park is manufactured by a record label
