to those who don't know the deal: a collective of like-minded hip hop artists who would help bring abstract and open-minded lyricism - that addressed a range of topics, from spirituality and modern living to race, sex, and just having fun - to the mainstream

like ATQC, De La Soul, Afrika Bambaataa, then Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Common, Busta and so on.. and there's like lots of collaborations between them and it would be cool to post them all in one topic, cause it's like a big chapter in hip hop's history. and supposingly they're all dope so i guess it's worth it.


i'll post a list later, if you guys are up for it of course..
