What's Your Favourite Xzibit Album?

Postby Xray » Dec 15th, '08, 05:31

Mine would have to be "At the Speed of Life (1996)", with "At The Speed Of Life", "Eyes May Shine[/i]", "Paparazzi", "The Foundation", "Carry The Weight" being my favourite tracks from the album. Second favourite album would have to be "40 Dayz & 40 Nights". After that he went commercial in my opinion. I mean "Restless" is a good album, but it doesn't have shit on his previous albums before "Restless". Xzibit is definitely in my top 5 rappers of all time.

What about you? What's your favourite album, and your favourite tracks from that album.

My fav has to be Restless, every single track on that album is great. I mean Dre beats + Xzibit + great features like Em n Dre n Snoop = Amazing album. After that comes 40 Dayz & 40 Nights, love "3 Card Molly", ""What You See is What You Get", "Shroomz", "Focus" and so many others, all tracks are tight. Then thrid is Weapon of Mass Destruction, very good album with good songs like "Back 2 The Way It Was" and "Scent of a Woman".

And yes Xzibit is in my top 5 list.

Depends what you're looking for from X. And to me "At The Speed Of Light" has everything I was looking for: Lyrics, underground beats, that hunger when an artist makes his debut, and concepts.
