We Need to STOP Trying to Bring Shit Back

And just support those who are moving the game forward in a positive direction. Taking it back will just bring us back to this point again when the cycle recurs.

I support new stuff that comes out as long as it's good, but I still mostly listen to stuff from the late 80's and 90's.

Sadly I barely listen to any rap music from this decade. Most of my music is 80s and 90s. I think I should try and give the new artists a chance at least but I just don't usually feel their music as much as I feel the 90s music... :(

There's a lot of great music from this decade though. I mean you don't have to count huge names like 50 (with Power of the Dollar and GRoDT) and Jay-Z and Nas and Eminem and TI and Luda (imo) and even Game. But less known artists like Talib and Mos Def (Ecstatic was the fucking SHIT) and newcomers obviously like J Cole and even Kid Kudi (who does club type shit the right way imo). You just gotta really search around and put people on the REAL artists. Not direct them automatically to Biggie and Pac

Yeah I have checked quite a few of those you've mentioned above but I think I have to check artists who don't get as much shine like Mos Def and Talib Kweli, I only have their Black Star album. Lately I've been going through a lot of 90s music which turns out to be so good like Raekwon's Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. I want to check out GZA's Liquid Swords, Common's Resurrection and Jeru The Damaja's The Sun Rises In The East so I should just do the same with the 2000s.

Thing is I get put off a lot by the likes of T.I. and Ludacris even though I know they're not that bad.

GZA's Liquid Swords is the best album of all time, in my opinion.

Well I'll be getting that very soon then. :y: I like to take my time with albums though, right now I'm downloading The Carter II so I don't want to download others cause then I rush through them.

I know what you mean. I only get one album at a time (I usually buy them to support the industry and to add to my collection), but I listen to them at least 3-5 times through before I get another one.
