Hopefully all these shitty songs that have been leaked have been leaked so that people will lower their expectations of the album. Regardless fuck Dre for hyping an album for 5 fucking years and spitting on his fans. Faggot.

Thing about Dre is he is a producer first, rapper second. He's gonna concentrate on the albums on his label, then worry about his record. He already knows that whenever his record comes out, it will be huge. So he wants to help establish Bishop Lamont and the other dudes on his label, then worry about his own shit.

Dr. Dre developing artists? LMFAO yeah like Rakim and Ortiz and Eve right? If you're not Eminem you don't release SHIT from Aftermath. The only reason Game's album came out (almost 3 yrs after he got fucking signed btw) is because 50 had a fair amount of control over his album and since 50 wants to cash in, G-Unit artists get albums out. Dr. Dre couldn't develop film, let alone an artist. And Bishop Lamont? What albums does he have out? I used to here about him occasionally, but until you mentioned him just now I completely forgot he existed. So that whole "he's a producer first" thing might be valid for someone who actually did anything, but not Dre's.

Plus, he stopped working on his project for a year to work on Relapse, I think it might've came out last year or early this year if it wasn't for that. Because if u remember, last year he said he was aiming for a November release that year, but that was before he started working on em's record. So who knows it might've came out if it wasn't for Relapse. And he's been also working on 50's album, so he's probably just starting to concentrate on his own shit right now. I mean, he produces for so many artists, he's got a lot of shit to work on. Plus he doesn't really hype up the record or even talk about it, his artists do. People are expecting it to be by far the best rap album ever, so Dre isn't gonna rush the shit because he knows if it isn't perfect he will get scrutinized

Dre doesn't hype his record? I'm pretty sure he started all this on Game's CD in a song and it went something like this "And doc got smtn to say be quiet... 'look out for detox' " and that came out in what, 2005? So that's 4 years. Lets take out one for working on Em's album I guess though I'm sure he's not so retarded he can't work on more than one project. That gives him 3 years. And he said November of last year, and here we are in July (almost August) of this year. Still no album, still no singles, still no dates, still nothing. I'm doubting that in over two years he didn't record a plethora of hot tracks that he could have made an album out of.

This is all coming from a former HUGE Dr. Dre fan. I realize he makes some hot beats and has a decent ear for the next big thing, and I get that he's great at using those talents to write him hit albums and keep his bank accounts overflowing. None of that, however, gives him an excuse to play his fans. Obviously you're a Dre fan since you completely ignored the fact that he holds artists hostage, and you're talking about him working on anyone aside from Em and 50, but when you look at the facts of how he runs his businesses there's no denying that Dre is a douche.

So again I say fuck Dre, fuck Detox, I'll download it and distribute it to every Dre fan I know for free just so they don't buy his album. I hope it flops and I hope his string of classics is ruined and I hope he goes to bed at wishing he would have just put out a fucking album like a regular human.

Ok first of all, calm your fucking shit. Anyway, Dre has the intentions of developing artists, but never does. I dont know why, but that's what he does. Sure it may have SOMETHING to do with the delay of Detox, but performing your responsibilities as a producer and recording your own album (an album which undoubtedly has tons of tracks recorded for it mind you) shouldn't be such a difficult task that he has to take years and years to complete any of the projects he's involved in.

Oh and do you think Dre goes and tells Bishop and all his artists to go hype up Detox? Theres a reason every time an interviewer asks about Detox they say 'Dre's probably gonna kill me for saying this' or some shit like that. Do you disagree with that? Really curious

No Dre probably doesn't tell them to do that, but if he didn't want the hype then he wouldn't let them say it, and seeing as how he has to approve anything and everything coming out of his camp he could make them change it/edit it out or whatever he wanted to do.
