Brooklyn singer from the 8 mile soundtrack

So on there 8mile soundtrack, on the bonus CD there is a song "The Weekend" by the artist- Brooklyn. Anyone have any info on this singer? Google searches dont seem to turn up many accurate results. Was she part of shady records or what?

All I could find is the song "super brooklyn" by the rap duo Cocoa Brovaz, you sure you didnt get it all mixed up?
