Blues and soul mag review of needle drop EP
"If you’ve been losing faith in the UK rap scene of late, this release will put your mind at ease with concrete evidence that not everyone is selling out and releasing uninspiring commercial tat.
Needle Drop EP comes courtesy of Nottingham MC Cappo with production from Endemic (two names to keep an eye on if you haven’t already heard of them). The EP’s seven tracks, two of which are instrumental versions, are all excellent solid Wu-reminiscent Hip-Hop tunes.
The only complaint you may have with the release is that whole thing is over too quick. Twenty one minutes just isn’t enough, bring on the album."

Data transmission review of Needle drop
"call it eye of the tiger, fire in the belly, whatever; Endemic makes music where vengeance has an aristocratic quality to it, with Cappo the ideal assailant to ram home his advantage."

Rago magazine review of Needle Drop
"This is such a great project and just reminds me of how the diverse the UK has become, but on the other hand it’s reminded me of those days gone by when UK Hip-Hop was on a more lyrical tip. Well Endemic & Cappo are taking it back to the essence and for that I salute them. This is many different things, but above all its good quality Hip-Hop, no actually, scrap that I mean good as in excellent!"

Kingdom Mag review Needle drop EP
"The release has the typical smooth yet hard and technical Cappo flow with added darkness in Endemics beats. If you are feeling that harder edge of the UK hip hop scene this is a must have in the collection."

Knowledge mag review of needle drop EP
"First up is the latest offering from veteran Nottingham MC Cappo who teams up with producer extraordinaire Endemic (pictured) on the excellent Needle Drop EP. Cappo brings his serious flow over Endemic's string heavy melodic beats, joined by fellow Notts rappers Scor-zay-zee (currently starring in the latest Shane Meadows film) and Lee Ramsay as well as Londoners Cyrus Malachi (Triple Darkness) and Iron Braydz. This is hard hitting UK hip hop at it's finest..."
