Without a question, 2Pac's original. It's one of my favorite 2Pac songs.

Jay-Z's can't compare. Kanye West did a good job, but Jay-Z's seems too commercialized.

EDIT: This is all the YouTube comments talk about in Jay-Z's video. About how 2Pac's version is the shit. Or vice versa; it's quite funny.

You mean Jay-Z's mainstream remake of 2Pac's classic? :o

The funny thing is that Tupac bit the concept from Nas...But yeah, Jay-Z remaking it just to make a corny pop song with Beyonce was lame. At least Eminem just used referred to it in a song title, lol.

They're both pretty good but I've always loved Jay's version. Easier to listen to imo, but I guess I'm more of a jay fan than a pac fan.

Pac's verison hand's down for me. One of my favorite Pac songs.
”This is the season for noise pollution contamination, examination and more cartoons than animation”-Eminem, Infinite

”I start to think and then I sink, into the paper like I was ink. When I'm writing, I'm trapped in between the lines, I escape when I finish the rhyme”-Rakim, I Know You Got Soul

”This rhythmatic explosion, is what your frame of mind has chosen, I'll leave your brain stimulated, nig--z is frozen”-Nas, It Ain’t Hard To Tell

Definitely 2Pac's version. You just cannot compare.

Hhe was inspired by the Nas song "I Gave You Power". Nas even once said in an interview that to him it was an honour to have 2Pac making a song inspired by his.
