coming from someone who remembers seeing 2pac and Biggie music videos on MTV before reality tv took over that channel, i believe that my opinion on Lil Wayne is knowledgeable enough to repeat.
He is a phony rapper, is voice is annoying, his lyrics are questionable at best ... sure he has released good songs in the past but people praise him way too much nowadays.

Maybe he wasn't doing drugs before freestyling but he said that you can't rap for shit when your smashed. Em has admitted that he use to take drugs before concerts and he was a user of drugs during the making of all three of those albums. I'm sure he wasn't completely sober writing all those songs.
