Getting tired of the woman-bashing in hiphop

I'm not in hardcore feminist mode or anything. I don't think explicit lyrics or anything like that is sexist. Nor do I think shock value is sexist.

I rarely if ever find these things offensive: it is just too often unoriginal, and just not funny.

For example when Em said he chokes women in Kill You my reaction was "haha holy shit this guys a loose cannon". But in the past few years, when he makes jokes about not caring about women or being too cheap to spend money on them it's like "old. so what, hes just retreading over his past success who cares"

it's not that im utterly against lyrics like "your bitch suck my dick last night". it's just that it's become so cliche its boring. and unnecessary.

Competition is big part of the Hip-Hop culture & men, women, gay people. etc. etc. catch heat on the regular plus there are rappers who bash whoever & whatever for no reason but there are ones who do so when they have reasons for it.
