They're ok, but I don't think they're the truth like some others seem to.

Budden only SHINES to me on emotional type tracks.

Ortiz and Royce are prime examples (to me) of underrated people that are overrated.

I fuck with Crooked I, but again, I don't think he's fantastic or anything.

Overall I agree with you about them just attacking every single track. No matter how creative or dope or ill or whatever it might be it gets old. Period. I wanna hear them do something original. Something with a DOPE concept and then see if they can deliver lyrically.

I think they're cool to hear every now and then but I don't see them being any more successful than they've been solo. None of them have a commercial appeal and I hate their name. They'll be another good (not great) group that doesn't sell. I think the combo of the four of them is gonna get old quick though. Cool for an album or just some collabs, but I don't see it keeping the novelty value past that.

i like them as well, i agree i dont think they will do as well as they did seperatly but then again you never know.
Royce is def my fav member, i like his new raspy voice thing he's got going on and i think like Coleon said he is the most dependable member as far as good lyrics.
Move on is probably my favorite track they have done so far, i liked the truth about it and also had some clever lines bragging about them as well. I thought "One" sucked balls personally and yes fight Club wasnt good for me either. but everything else i thought was good a personaly cant wait for the album :y:

I heard move on for the first time the other day, and i became an instant fan. I always been a fan of royce, but after listenin to all there songs, they bring something fresh. I can't wait for the album, and I think they could be sussessful. 4 minds like that together anythings possible. Budden needs to stop being such a prick though.

I love slaughterhouse, everysong they put out is hot, execpt for money on the floor, can't really listen to that song. I pretty much agree with what everyone has said, they need to put out more songs like Move on. I can't really say which member is my favorite, they all have shined on different tracks but Joell Ortiz has the most lines that make me say Wow. " I do everything my Pen States like a Nitney Lion."

But imagine if Eminem had been working with Ortiz and Royce this whole time on Aftermath instead of 50. I think he would be much better now.

^Why the hell would you wish that on anyone from Slaughterhouse? Especially being a fan. They'd never get an album out working with Em. EVER.

Im not saying that, im just saying back in 99 if that thing with Royce never went down and Dre took Joell Ortiz seriously and let them put out albums at a rate like 50 has then there would be much better rap in the mainstreem and Em would be much better because he would have spent his career working with real lyrcists and not 50.

I don't think Ortiz would have sold a bunch of records just cuz Dre was behind him. It's not like people don't know who he is. He just doesn't have a very mainstream appeal.

And I don't think Royce is so amazing that Eminem would have benefited from his company at some extraordinary level. It's not even like 50 has any say in Em's work... or is even on more than like what? 3 Eminem songs? I don't see there being any real difference either way.

Joe Budden isn't the weakest, neither is he the best. They are all equally dope when they put out a track. I prefer Joey though, what a surprise hah, but that's just 'cause I'm a Joe Budden fan, lol.

And considering they did a song like The One, Move On and straight lyrical slaughter like Warriors, we can't judge their album yet. It may be a really good album. With all different types of songs, and if they deliver good enough on those songs, they might change the view of Hip Hop that the masses and the media have.

Well..that's what I hope at least.
