See? Even Joell acknowledges that NY has been slippin' and deserved this beating from Kendrick.

Actually...the whole verse rocks.

Yeah totally on point... he wasn't hating on K.Dot. Dude just did himself & it fucking murdered it.

He didn't really say much in this verse. It's obviously one of the better ones but nobody is on Kendrick's level right now. Even Eminem (my #1 rapper) couldn't drop a verse as hot as Kendrick's.

Enjoy riding Kendrick's wave of success though, Joell. You gotta get ya name out there somehow.

Lol, no it's not.

How can you even say it's better when the impact of Kendrick's verse is what created all this? None of the verses that follow can touch Kendrick's because they're only using Kendrick's buzz to promote themselves. What Kendrick said made the Internet explode, Joell just made a hot verse.

If Drake never dropped Over we wouldn't have Despicable yet the latter one is better.

That's because Over was shit and had no impact at all. What's your point exactly?

The quality of the verses can be compared without talking about impact. Even so., Joell's verse got the world buzzing too.

He represented NY and everyone said he killed it. His verse was as dope as Kdot's.

Lol. Not at all. And what does that have to do with your last statement?

He literally said nothing but "you ain't the king, I'm the king!"
The rest was either filler which was pleasing to the ear or just him repeating himself.
We'll see which verse is remembered in a few months.

we can only hope that Kendrick responds and mentions the rest of Slaughterhouse or the rest of slaughterhouse just respond anyway.. then Royce can bring Malcom out of retirement lol

oh and to the people who thought he was mentioning Curtis...
But Dre you a fucking gangster and Kirdis you're such a sweetie

Lines like this is why Kendrick's verse was better. Yeah, that sounds cool but it's completely meaningless and says nothing.

And that meant more than what Joell said? Both meant something. What the fuck are bars if they don't mean anything?
