And how could you factually say X rapper is better than X rapper, they both have different styles. Not to mention that was a bit of a tongue in cheek post as response to you claiming that his Knaan and K-os claim was cringeworthy.

Well not really factually but you can't not say a rapper's better then another because he has a different style. Like clearly Eminem is better then like Drake for instance but they have different styles.
And don't woory I know u didn't actually think K-os is better then Lupe ;)

Eh the disparity between Eminem and Drake is nowhere near the disparity between K-os and Lupe writing wise, though musically I'd honestly rather listen to K-os.

You should compare K-os to Kanye that'd be fairer.

I know its overrated but deleting it :(

D

Its a shame. There are some REALLY awesome tracks on these guys' mixtapes and in Lupe's case albums. excluding Cudi lol

Yes i deleted it,good beats but if i want to listen to that i'll just DL an instrumental album.
I'll probably listen to some of them someday, for now i didn't had time, nor the rush to listen to them.

I agree with you till some degree.Recovery wasn't a fail at al loll. But i do have the feeling Dre is going in that direction.Getting all these new producers and lots of collabs on Detox, where most of his fans want some classic Dre tracks. Then again no one knows Detox final tracklist. There are many rappers he's collaborated with for that album in the last years. Not to mention no release date yet :zipped:

Pharoahe Monch is better than Nas in every single aspect of rapping, including discography and production choice

Stress: The Extinction Agenda is as good as Illmatic

Hellz Wind Staff and Heaterz > Triumph

Only Built 4 Cuban Linx is the best produced hip hop album ever

Slim Shady LP is Eminem's best prodcued album

Inspectah Deck is the greatest guest emcee of all time

808's and heartbreaks is a very underrated album and deserves more respect.

I seriously don't get why people think it's bad. Yeah, it's auto tune, but unlike Wayne & T-Pain it sounds great

Readin' some opinions, I'm really appreciatin the honesty!

Let's try:

- Encore haters can suck my cock!! Album is great, with only 3 bad songs!
--- Big Weenie [even though I like it a little, it's out of place] ,
--- Rain Man [great beat though, wasted great beat]
--- My first single [awful, but beat could receive better lyrics and become a good song]).

The rest range from good to classic! All Eminem albums have some not-so-good songs, songs that didn't keep the standard of greatness all over the album. Same with SSLP (Cum on everybody) and MMLP (Remember me) and Eminem Show (Say what you say). What's the bad thing about Encore, huh? I can't see the reason to the hate on Encore!

- Tupac is overrated to the point of nausea, he is good, but that makes me feel bad about him!

- B.I.G is extremely overrated to the point of puking! B.I.G SUCKS! He ain't nothin'!! People dare callin' him one of the greatest??

- Space bound is one of the best songs Eminem relased recently. It has the same feelin I felt with some of his best stuff. And it's enough proof to me that, even not bein' as big as before, Em can still make real good music.

- D12 doesn't go any good without Em on their songs, with few expections (911, Good die young..) But I think this opinion it's very current on people here.

I might edit: soon....

(There's a Malicious script on the site tryin' to distribute viruses?) :o

Chamillionaire is one of the best

Mike Shinoda is in top 10 dead or alive

Old school hip hop production is boring as fuck, can't listen to most of the old school hip-hop albums

Can't listen to Pac because of his fucking annoying voice. Relapse accent> Pac's voice.

Recovery is better than Slim Shady LP in terms of production.

Kanye is not a great producer (He has some great beats, but 7 out of 10 of his beats from 808's until now sucked dick)

Tupac is not a top 10 rapper (Nor is Eazy or Biggie as said before)

Also as said before (Except a different year), 90% of rap music from before 2000 was terrible. Also most of the production from before then was terrible.

Slim Shady LP is Em's best album, followed by The Eminem Show and then Marshall Mathers LP. Not sure how MMLP was the best selling of the 3.

I don't think lyrics are the most important thing...

I don't think emotional songs are what makes an artist "real"...

I don't think Wiz Khalifa is wack..

I don't think that underground is better than mainstream, but then again I don't think mainstream is better than underground. I just see them as two subsets of rap, and both have their own unique and great attributes to words hip hop as a super set.
