And lol @ your last statement,if it wasnt for Rakim,NWA,etc.. there would be no hip-hop like today,so without them there would be no Eminem,Jay-Z,2Pac,Sadistik,Cage or Possessed, does that mean they`re the best at it?C`mon man, you`re better then this,at least you should acknowledge skill when you see it.

NWA influenced gangster rap. Cage, Sadistik, possessed, etc, are not Gangster rap. Your argument was made void.

Also, Cage was originally signed to Columbia around the same time DMX was. Which was around the same time NWA came out. Therefore, Cage is in the same league as them as far as length of appearance goes. Another reason your argument is void.. They did not influence his music.

I never said poss was skilled. I said Cage, in his prime, was better.

So what if they`re gangsta?Pele was forward, does it mean he cant influence some defender? And its not only NWA.I put etc... so you know what I meant,Rakim,Run DMC,Grandmaster Flash,Beastie Boys,LL,BDP,Public Enemy,etc...

Without those people there would be no hip-hop like there is today, therefore there would most certainly be no Cage, or at least not the one we all know.He was influenced by some of them,he had to listen to someone to even get the idea of starting a rap career. And Cage signed with Columbia in 93,while NWA came with Straight Outta Compton in 88,thats 5 years, its not the same length, therefore, your argument is void.

And no Cage is not even close skill-wise,never was,and wit his last album,I can easily say never will.

First of all, you're arguing a much more broad spectrum. We're talking about one specific genre of hip hop. Not hip hop in it's entirety. You're attempting to sway the argument and change what it was initially about. Cage influenced and innovated the type of rap that RA does. Period. No one else matters.

Secondly, 88 and 93 are the same era of hip hop. And considering there's almost no one left from that era who is still doing it, i'd say that I'm pretty much correct. 5 years isn't much difference if you're comparing it to the 23 years that have passed...

We're taking about prime cage. Agent orange and previous. RA can't touch that, sorry.

I`m arguing about it cause you started something about Em biting Cage, this has something to do with the thread? No.And then you say that Cage is better and that there would be no Possessed if it wasnt for Cage, being 1st and being better is not the same, apprentice can be better then master, easily. And thats what Possessed is,better, way better,in terms of rhyming/writting of course, you can see from my other posts that I like cage, but he`s not on the same level, sorry, but he`s not. This is my last post btw,we can go on like this for days, you`ll say that Cage is better(and you prolly troll anyways)while I`ll stay saying that Possessed is better, its a never ending circle.
