Cruger lost the first two rounds.

There isn't that many good UK battlers.

Sensa, Eurgh and Cruger, few of the best in UK lost to Arcane,DNA(really?) and Pete.

Eurgh didn't lose to DNA. DNA's a moron and half of his wordplay is forced, pointlesss nonsense. The guy said "You're known in the UK, I'm known nationwide" for fucks sake.

@Spyder - Mark Grist is a former teacher who battles in Don't Flop. Had a battle with Blizzard (17 year old) that went viral and has 2 and a half million views. He's more spoken word/poetry than rap really. Scroobius Pip is a decently big UK spoken word artist (never battled) who I have never really listened to but called out Grist. Not going to happen now, though, I don't think.

Thing about DNA isn't that he's just an shit to average battle rapper, it's that he's genuinely an idiot. Some of that cringeworthy 'SLOW IT DOWN' stuff he had. Like this laughable line:

"I aint like the way your accent you came to America, ima put the foreigner... SLOW IT DOWN... I aint like the way you act since you came to America, Ima put the 4 in Eurgh"

The first line makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. If you're going to do a double meaning, they both kind of... have to mean something. Like when Sauras did it in the Cruger battle.

To be honest, a lot of those URL/gun rapper guys base their verses on shitty, forced wordplay.

It's why I love Soul Khan's destruction of QP so much.

Good breakdown. I think the 3rd could have gone either way really. I liked Cruger's "you're the winner of two things" and "to kill an Illusion" (reference to his Illusion-Z battle) lines. Sauras' Don't Flop lines were pretty funny.

I didn't like that 'adolescent child/pedophile' thing. Because Charron already did that concept ("baby face with rapist traits") and I'm sure Sensa did as well in some old battle.

My favourite Cruger perfomance is probably his Illusion-Z one (well, at least the 3rd round). His Jack Shitt (thought he won that) and Enlish perfomances are up there too.

Brings up an interesting point. I feel judges are too black and white over who wins a battle basing it on the individual rounds.

In other words, they would pick Saurus over Cruger because of 2 rounds to one. (assuming the judge deemed a decisive 2nd round win for Cruger and Saurus edging the other rounds).
