No Em and Kanye?

*Deletes all DJ Premier prod song on my pc*
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

I love Ghostface, but it doesn't deserve to be placed as number one.

And where's Big Krit's album?

Just released Curren$y isn't on the list either

I know its Primo's opinion, but Em, Kanye, Big Boi, Big K.R.I.T and Curren$y should be on there - atleast for me anyway

I saw once on an episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, a famous singer i sing bob dylan was there, and he requested a song but they never heard it before, and it was a minute before the commercial breaks, and quest love downloaded the song and palyed it in the other roots members earphones, and they learned it in a minute and played it to him during the commercial break (i know that cause jimmy fallon said it on the next episode)

plus all the times Quest love remix those videos on Thursday episodes of Jimmy Fallon. They are amazing talents :worship:

I was just messing but if Jimmy wasn't lying, that's pretty cool. I just became a fan with How I Got Over. Black Thought is really, really underrated.

Yes my friend you do, I know you're a fan of 1990's hiphop, and that album is reminiscent of the late 1990's Wu Tang affiliates albums

Actually, I'm not sure if you can buy that album, so I'd advise you to use other means to listen to it :y:

On the list, it's pretty good, but where the hell are Big Boi, Kanye and Nas + Damian :confusion:

You can buy the album on play.com but it is quite expensive :/

Downloaded the album and listened to a few tracks yesterday. So far it's a really good album. I love how the productions instantly take you back to the 90's and the original way he has penned his lyrics.

I guess he simply forgot him. He has Nas a "honourable mention" below the actual list.

Voila. Sorry Kanye West, Nas, Eminem & Talib Kweli.

FOR ALL OF YOU SHALLOW MINDED FOLK, I JUDGE HIP HOP BASED ON ORIGINALITY, STYLE, IF I CAN LISTEN TO THE WHOLE LP FROM INTRO TO OUTRO, ARE THE BEATS GOOD, ARE THE LYRICS WORTH LISTENING TO, DOES IT REPRESENT THE GHETTO IN ANY TYPE OF WAY FOR THE RAW AND HARDCORE AUDIENCE (WHICH INCLUDES ME) AND MOST IMPORTANTLY DOES IT MEET MY EXPECTATIONS FOR WHAT I KNOW THAT AN ARTIST SHOULD DELIVER SINCE I DO SPEND MY MONEY AND I AM A FAN, SO I SET A HIGH BAR ON THE ARTISTS TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING ME HAPPY WITH WHAT THEY DELIVER….I PUT MYSELF IN THAT SAME BOX WHICH IS WHY I STILL REMAIN CONSISTENT IN MY 40′S…..JAY-Z IS STILL RUNNIN’ THIS RAP SHIT BECAUSE HE KNOWS HOW THE GAME GOES…..Y’ALL BETTER KEEP UP…..HATE ME NOW FOR BEING HONEST………ONE……..p

I don't get why artists have to represent the ghetto? I enjoy listening to a lot of albums that I honestly can't relate to (emotionally but not litteraly).

Also I don't get why great artists have to deliver on a higher level. I mean, if the music's good it is good.

Jay-Z isn't really running anything anymore. He is still capable of making good songs but it's hard to find just a few songs on BP3 that are anywhere near being great.
