Lupe Fiasco=Genius

i hate to label any musician as a genius, but Lupe is definitely extremely good at what he does and is not very well known considering how good he really is. Food & Liquor gets all the credit, and deservedly so..but i think The Cool is almost as good of an album, and never seems to get its props. Songs like The Die, Hip-Hop Saved My Life, Gotta Eat, Streets On Fire, Dumb It Down are all classic tracks. I think his next album could be huge, even if it doesn't make it in the mainstream (fuck the mainstream anyway)

Hip Hop Saved my life is one of the best songs I've ever heard.

This song literly is the only song on my ipod with over a thousand plays.

Lupe brought originality to the mainstream. From "The Cool" to "Put You On Game" he has a solid discography. Just because he doesn't say "fuck the president, nine eleven was a conspiracy, patriot act, starving children" doesn't mean he isn't knowledgeable.

Can someone point out some of his "conspiracy theories"? He may say some over the top stuff but he's always very level headed and intelligent in his interviews. The people hate him only skim through his music.
